Do I have to register to post comments on this blog?

No, you do not have to register in order to make comments.  But you do have to register if you wish to win prizes in our contests.  You only have to register once, and then you are good forever (Just make sure you’ve got a current email on file with us. Simply re-register if you aren’t sure).

Why don’t my comments show right away?

Sometimes comments take just a little time to post.  This is to keep spam from cluttering the system. Come back later to view your comment(s). Other people may have commented on your comment(s) too, and you can read them as well.

How do the Fusion Contests work?

About:  Every month we have a contest.  We might ask a question related to agility or dogs, or maybe ask you for a short story or a suggestion. By posting a comment response you have a very good chance of being a lucky winner! You might win anything from a pat on the back (just kidding), a secret prize, an obstacle (ooh!), and better yet, a gift certificate (ooh la la)!

General Rules:
(1) You must have be a registered user (member) so we can notify you if you are the winner.  You only have to do this once.  Make sure you have a current email address on file.
(2) You can participate for every contest (even if you were previously a winner), but you cannot participate in the same contest more than once.
(3) All prizes include shipping to domestic U.S. addresses only.  Otherwise, shipping is extra.

How do I add a picture to my name?

This is called an ”avatar”.   Simply go to gravitar’s website and enter your email address.  Believe me, you’ll be surprised how easy they make it for you.  And the cool thing … this is a universal avatar.  Anyplace else you go on the web that uses avatars (blogs, discussion forums, etc), the same little picture will show up!   When you go to gravitar’s website, simply use the same email address that you plan to use with our website (or already registered with).  Choose a user name (lower case, no spaces) that we assume will be the same one that you’re going to use here.  Then upload a picture from your computer.  No worries…its really easy.  They’ll help you with the cropping too.   Then, come back here to AgilityFusion and wait a couple minutes.  Refresh your page if necessary, and tada, your picture will show up!

How do I change my password from the awful one that was emailed to me?

Yeah, it is pretty ugly, isn’t it?  But actually, you don’t have to worry about it, really.  It’s not necessary to “log” back into this website to enjoy any of its features.  BUT, if you are a frequent commenter, it will make things easier for you.  Just go to the registration page and follow the instructions at the BOTTOM of the page.

I lost my password.  How do I get another?

You can’t retrieve your old one, but you can quickly get a new one.

1. Go to the Registration page.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Lost my Password” on the bottom.  (don’t enter anything else)
3. Enter your email address or user name
4. A new password will be emailed to you immediately.

What are “Tag” Words?

You will notice certain “tag” words under each post. These are  key words that you can click on that will take you to other posts that have the same tag word attached to them also.  This is a ‘trail’ you can follow to get more information on a subject. (Because this a new blog, there may only be a couple posts per tag word, but in time there will be many more).
